Biography:
In 2009, Jeffrey Teichert joined Robert J. DeBry & Associates where he is an associate and provides intake and research support for the firm.

Jeff grew up less than a block from the Robert DeBry offices and still remembers hitting balls into the parking lot while playing baseball with friends. When Jeff was in junior high, his friend Tony Hyde was killed in a bicycle accident. Robert DeBry helped Tony's friends cope with this tragedy by spearheading a bicycle helmet safety advertising campaign. The campaign continues to this day. Jeff was personally impacted by the generosity of the firm, which helped turn the tragedy of Tony's death into a community service program.

Jeff attended Utah State University where he served on the President's Leadership Council, a four-year leadership scholarship focusing on fundraising and student recruiting. He then attended Lewis & Clark Law School where he was selected to join the staff of Environmental Law, a leading law review in the environmental field. Jeff later served as co-managing editor of the review. During his studies at Lewis & Clark, Jeff clerked for FranchiseSmith, LLC, where he provided litigation support as well as aided in the formation and registration of franchise systems.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys watching Utah State basketball and almost any college football game. He also enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, and reading. Jeff is an avid exerciser and maintains a fitness blog that documents his journey to get back in shape. He achieved his biggest fitness goal in February 2009, losing a total of 45 pounds.

Jeff has a working knowledge of Spanish and is striving to regain fluency.
