Biography:
Len is a native of Utah. He joined our Salt Lake City office as an associate in 2006 after working as an insurance counsel for Allstate Insurance in Utah. Prior to his time with Allstate, Len was an Assistant Utah Attorney General where he defended claims made against the State of Utah and its agencies.

Len attended the University of Utah on a Debate scholarship and graduated with a B.S. degree in history and political science in 1975—where he was also student body president. He received a J.D. degree from the U in 1978. Len was a member of both Phi Alpha Delta and the Beehive Honor Society, and was active in Moot Court while in law school. He was a prosecutor in the U.S. Navy JAG for four years and followed that military service as a Naval Intelligence officer, retiring from the U.S. Navy Reserves as a Commander in 2004.

Len has tried over 100 jury trials—civil and criminal—and is the author of "Crime Victim Compensation" (Journal of Contemporary Law, Winter, 1979). He has five children with his wife, who is also a paralegal at the firm. They both enjoy most outdoor activities as well as U football and the Utah Jazz.
