Tylenol’s Potentially Negative Impact on the Liver

For years, Tylenol has been helping people overcome pain, reduce fever and relieve symptoms of troublesome allergic reactions. That being said, the drug has had its downfalls in recent years. For example, in 1994, a Virginia federal court jury awarded $8.8 million in compensatory funds to a person who fell into a coma, due to liver damage, after using Tylenol.

In years following the initial lawsuit, numerous other claims were filed against McNeil Consumer Products for failing to warn consumers about the harmful interaction between alcohol and recommended doses of acetaminophen.

Needless to say, if you or a loved one in Utah have experienced a drug-related injury—be it because of Tylenol or anything else of the sort—you’re entitled to receiving proper monetary compensation for your troubles. The following infographic presents more information about the possible dangers associated with Tylenol use and the drug’s potential impact on the liver.
